Thank you for expressing interest in the UT Tennis club!

We are the official tennis club at UT that is open to all UT students who are interested in playing tennis, regardless of level. We host play days 3 times a week that allow members to hit with other players at their level. Players also use this time to play matches and work on their competitive skills.

The UT Tennis Club meets every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday from 5-7pm at the Whitaker tennis courts (the Intramural Fields, IF, bus can be used for those without transportation). Membership dues are $50/yr or $35/semester for UT students and staff. The UT Tennis Club provides reserved tennis courts and tennis balls for their members on every meeting. Membership also  includes a club t-shirt and free entry to all UT Tennis Club tournaments which are offered twice a semester (visit the Club Tournaments page for upcoming tournaments). To join, bring a filled out Membership Form (click on bold) and dues to one of the general meetings.

Those who are of an advanced or intermediate level may choose to try out for the competitive team. Tryouts are held in the first few weeks of the semester, with the boy's and girl's ladder consisting of 12-15 players each. Competitive team members have the opportunity to compete in USTA Tennis on Campus tournaments around the state, as well as our annual regional and national tournament held in the spring.
